Klix Information Services Incorporated was formed in 2000 to bring the functionality of corporate I.T. departments to small businesses from three employees to thirty employees. These small companies are too small to have I.T. staff, but face technology challenges. Usually these companies have hired ‘computer-plumbers’ or ‘break-fix’ guys. These folks are called when there is a problem, and a reaction is implemented. But proper management of technology starts with a study of each business, a plan to implement technology for the purpose of advancing the cause of the business, maintaining these systems, and managing the life-cycle of these systems. This is what I.T. departments full of computer guys do. Klix brings this service to small businesses.
This mission is guided by our core values:
- We take ownership of client’s problems, and see them to resolution.
- We don’t make users feel ‘dumb’ because they are not. Users may not know how to fix a simple computer problem, but they know how to do their business. And the user’s success in their business gives us the opportunity to have their business.
- We believe in technology environments that of superior quality that is less prone to failure, yet at the same time environments that are value oriented. In other words we like to achieve 95 percentile performance at a 40 percentile price.
- We also believe that the application of technology to enhance someone’s productivity is worthwhile, because the cost of employee’s wages overshadows the cost of the technology.
